In my latest interview series, #DigitalTalkShowWithSorav, I got to pick up the brains of Mr. Rob Peck, the Director of Client Services at O3M Directional Marketing. In what followed, one of the most fun interviews, Rob gave wonderful titbits about his area of expertise, Google Ads where he has more than 10 years of experience.
Rob located to Chennai from Miami for only 3 months. It’s been 10 years, and he’s still here. He discussed the immense opportunity in the Indian Market and what kept him here for these many years.

‘The regional language ads have been tremendously important to our business, clients and the customers. India is a very unique place where just about everyone speaks English, but that doesn’t mean they like to speak English, so if you have to connect emotionally, you have to go regional.’
‘We have been going pretty aggressive on YouTube and we continue to. When you look at the most popular and trending videos, they’re just How-to videos, tutorials, and unboxing ones. They are not high level production, but only casual content. So YouTube is fantastic and cost per view is coming in very inexpensive.’
